My tastes change frequently as I experience new things and get tired of old ones (Sorry, hackers. None are my passwords.) But to keep this short, here are some consistent faves.
First, I am not vegetarian, but I really love tofu: reminds me of mozzarella. And Balsamic glaze on any vegetable makes it better.
Food Group: Dairy
International Cuisine: Rotates. I love so many equally.
Pizza: MOD, a good Neapolitan Margherita with a balsamic drizzle, or New York white, or Detroit pepperoni, or Chicago Deep Dish with sausage, pepperoni, green peppers, mushrooms, and red flakes. YES to pineapple and sweet peppers (e.g., Mama's lil red-hots). It's hard to make a bad pizza. Hate fake purists.
Sandwich: Rachel (aka, a Reuben with pastrami instead of corned beef)
Pasta: Creamy & spicy with chicken (e.g., Jerk Chicken pasta)
Ice Cream Flavor: Mint chip, strawberry, raspberry sorbet, cherry cordial
Candy: Sweet & sour candies (e.g., Spree, Sour Patch Kids, etc.) Dark chocolate filled with caramel, cream, or a berry.
Pie: Coconut Custard (NOT Coconut Cream! There's a difference). Otherwise, apple of cherry.
Bagel: Everything or Pumpernickel, toasted with cream cheese (sometimes strawberry cream cheese)
Pastry: Danish Kringle (not Norwegian or German) specifically made in Racine Wisconsin (e.g., Olson, O&H, etc.)
Birthday Meal: Cheese blintzes with sweet cherries and sour cream.
Book: Dune, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Neuromancer, My Name is Asher Lev
Film: The Ninth Gate, Strange Days, Die Hard, The Emperor's New Groove
Franchise: Hrm... tough one. The Mummy? Die-Hard? It's tough to keep the quality going without dipping back into the same well too many times. And I grow out of them. Star Wars and Star Trek were great as a kid - but now I want more (and the continuity issues just kill me).
Artist: Echo Chernik
Table-Top Roleplaying Game: Shadowrun
Board Game: Acquire
Card Game: Meh. Nothing has held my interest.
Video Games: Escape rooms. I have too many distractions to get good enough at multi-player games (e.g., PopOne, etc.) to have fun.
Music: Oh, this is a tough one. My tastes are all over the place. I love deep and powerful and smart music (in no particular order):Thirty Seconds to Mars, Metallica, Jinjer, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Tool, Rammstein, Beethoven, Eminem... Yeah, my brain is racing coming up with dozens more, so I'm going to stop. I like pop and classical, but don't choose to listen to them if there are alternatives. Same with rap and c&w.
Lived: Here. Now. The PNW. LOVE IT! Don't want to ever move.
Vacation: New York City, Disney World/Land (been almost 100 times), Iceland, Banff
Future Trips: Can't decide.
Color: Twilight Fluorescent Blue
Scent: I can't smell much of anything due to life-long allergies and congestion.
Animal: Every cat species
